Hey all of you wireless security system experts,
I have a ~12 year old Magnavox MX2000 (Phillips LST104) wireless security system that bit the dust. I'm looking for a replacement, but the problem is that I have a small fortune invested in the wireless perif's... door/window & motion sensors. Can anyone recommend a wireless system (at least 16 zone) that is fully compatible with my perif's ?
For the most part.....
Door/Window Sensors: DS10A or PDS01
Motion Sensors: MDT300MS

Another MUST HAVE feature is the ability to program my own "call out" number when the alarm is tripped. (old unit did not have this, or, no one ever published a way to do this)

***HELP PLEASE***
My wife is kinda freaking out that we now have ZILCH security.
(Except my Smith & Wesson )

Had a good look around the Smarthome page, but did not notice any links one could use to ask this sort of pre-purchase/sales question... anyone know?

That equipment was manufactured by x10. You can probably still find compatible parts on that company's site.

You may want to look at the X10 SC1200 Console.
I know it works with the DS10A. Should also work with the OEM part numbers you have.
Since X10 has changed it business model and selling more third party devices with their name on it. You may not find too much on the Smarthome site. At one time they did have the SC1200 but seem to have discontinued carrying it.

They are still showing in the X10 sales site. They have it in kits and as a separate item so if you have all the accessories. Console maybe all you would need. Yes you can add four phone numbers and a outgoing message for when it is tripped.

Thanks for the replies... !!
Yes, I found the SC1200 system not long after my initial post. Ordered it... they have a great deal right now on a 21pc system for $149.99

No more replies needed... Thanks again.

Hi Lynster, do you have any idea of what you paid for these systems originally? I have 2 NIB which I want to sell on a FB online garage sale site or eBay.

I did not find the SC1200 or SC1200 Kit on the Smarthome site anymore.

Right now the X10 sales site. Shows a SC1200 Security Kit for $99.95. Strangely the SC1200 Console alone is $99.99.

The present kit may not be like your kit. The contents of kits change from time to time as does the kit price.
