Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can point me to a decent tutorial on how to set these up to work with iphones (or computers outside the network) The instruction manual this comes with has proven to be pretty useless.

Note: port forwarding has been set up for camera, ddns settings are right but it keeps saying "Failed, illegal host format". I'm using a smartlinc via iphone to control several other devices in the house, but i can't tap into cameras from outside the network.

Thanks!

Ex.

Need a few more details here.
Did you set up the camera with port forwarding?
Why do you think it works?!
What modem / router, options, etc.?

In WISC. I had great problems with standard ports like 8090, etc.
What is the configuration?
I can see my camera on my browser on my iPod - which is just like an iPhone. Works slick.

We're all in this together and I'm pulling for you.
