Is it possible to install a US Honeywell wifi enabled thermostat in Europe? Or do I have to get one that was specifically made for Europe?
If I have to get a european model, does anyone have any recommendations for where I can get such products?

WiFi uses the same frequencies throughout the world. But check with the manufacturer of the thermostat you choose.

My question really is:
Is the wiring in Europe for thermostats the same as in America?

Wiring for any thermostat is standard. Otherwise it wouldn't work. That also true for electric wiring including 3-way configurations.

What does vary is the color of the wires.

My opinion is wiring any thermostat in Eu and Us is the same. you can visit here http://www.how-to-wire-it.com/wire-a-thermostat.html or http://thermostatjudge.com/c-wire/thermostat-wiring-wire.html to wire your thermostat.

Most thermostats have a power in wire, a fan control wire and a heating and/or cooling wire. Programmable thermostats also require a power return wire.

In NA, the standard power is 24VAC. Describe what you have connected to your current thermostat.
