Greetings.

I have a 40 year old condo & I would like to upgrade to a programmable model thermostat so when I am away for 10 hours a day I can set back the temps.

The existing 'stat is a 110v feed and controls only the fan operation as we have ceiling radiator lines and the fan circulates the air to heat and cool.

I have searched far and wide without success.....can anyone help?

Thank You in Advance

Dean

Which specific thermostat is currently installed?

Hi Stu,
Thank You again for the help.
Our current 'stat looks a bit primitive but also well made.
The system gets 'switched-over' in May and October from heat to A/C and vice versa.

I am assuming that because of that, I do not need a thermostat that has a heat/AC switch and that one of these "baseboard heat" units work fine.

My box has 2 red wires and one blue connecting to the box. The 2 reds are marked 'B & C' and the Blue one is marked 'R'. It looks as if the Honeywell unit has just a hot and neutral both in and out.

This programmable unit you suggested: Honeywell TL8230A1003, does say it is for a 220v system. Wouldn't I need one for a 110v line?

Thank You Again,
Dean
