Just installed this camera. The HD pic without IR is great. In low light, the BW pic is good. In very low light or no-light the IR light seems to wash the picture out.

Thoughts?

Did you install the camera indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors, but I figured out the problem. Turns out the IR light pattern spread is really large. I mounted it under an eave and there was just enough of the IR light bouncing off the edge of the eave to reflect back into the camera lens. I re-articulated the mounting bracket a bit to move it and - voila! Nice clear B&W @ night with IR set.
