 How can I configure Huawei MA5800

I am starting an FTTH project and would like to buy one Huawei MA5800 and some HG8546M to test firstly, how can I configure?

Most engineers use command mode to configure OLT via console cable.

What other accessories should I prepare to build the OLT ONT test environment?

You should prepare below items:
1, console cable
2, patch cord
3, optical Attenuator (because power of GPON port is +3~+5dBm, while ONT receives power is -10~-25dBm.)
