I am a certified Architect with registered practice in the province of Ontario in Canada. I do residential development including the required Project Management. I will be demolishing my home and will re-build it new. As such, I wish to fully integrate "home automation". Is there a web site or book or somewhere where one can learn more about what is Home Automation, its requirements, etc...

Some major brands in home automation are Control4, Crestron, and Savant. Their sites give pretty good overviews as to how it works, what's required, etc. Hope that helps!
