 Ecobee reall zigbee enabled?

Hello. I just purchased one of these Thermostats from Smarthome. The product title says that it is ZigBee Enabled. However when we received it I can find no mention of ZigBee in the manual or specs. I tried to call the supplier that is listed on the Smarthome webpage however it is listed incorrectly.

Looks like ecobee has direct contact info on their own website here: http://www.ecobee.com/

They are listed as certified Zigbee compatible here: http://www.zigbee.org/DesktopModules/ZigBeeVariousProducts/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductRevisionID=33&Date=634535770430842416)

What are you looking to control it with?

It's always a good idea to read the manuals *before* purchasing to ensure they fit your needs--unlike a lot of online stores, Smarthome offers the manuals for most of their products right on their product pages.
