I am moving into a new home with my wife, and we are not a tech heavy couple, but want to keep with up with new technologies. My electrician will wire in any structured cable we want, but deciding on what we need is tough. I have read about good cables at SCP and read on forums about a good company to buy from. Therefore, can someone advise me which of these cables would be best and keep us safe for future changes in technology?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. We went with . Seems to be the blanket of structured or bundled cable: It covers everything :)

Ok, not that funny :/

There is really no "best." That's why several options are offered. If you don't have an immediate need, then have the electrician put in a drag line.

Take some time to decide what you need/want. The drag line makes it easy to pull the cable you choose. The only ting you need to be concerned about now is where you want to terminate each cable.

Unless you can predict the future, it's not possible to be safe for future changes in technology
