I'm looking for a control system that controls both Insteon and X10 devices. I've had a X10 system forever using an Ocelot controller with many devices that has worked wonderfully but there are certain functions that are not available anymore for that system. I've added a few new Insteon devices that I have to control separately using an Insteon controller. I believe that I control both systems using a ISY994i controller but can't find any place to verify that.

Is anyone out there doing this and what issues are you having if any?

Thanks, I knew the original Insteon hub had that functionality but I looked around I haven't been able to find one. I'm glad to hear that the new PLM still have that feature.

Yes, thatís still a PLM feature. Limited x10 features were part of the original INSTEON Hub, but those were dropped in the model 2245 Hub.

Does the 2413s PLM still support X10? I know the 2413 PLM use to but I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the 2413s PLM drop that functionality.

Affirmative, the ISY and 2413 PLM can send and receive x10 signals. The issues Iíve seen relate primarily to power line interference with x10 signals.

For all things ISY, check out the ISY forum: http://forum.universal-devices.com
