Posted - 01/31/2018 : 8:49:24 PM Is it necessary to have fire sprinklers in our homes? What do you think about it? Studies show that most of the fire deaths in our homes occur mostly at night mainly because of the fire that arises from the kitchen. I think it's high time to take it seriously. The main advantage of sprinklers is that it reduces the risk of fire attack. It can extinguish the fire and protect your surrounding rooms from fire, heat and smoke damage. Nowadays, most of the houses install fire alarm security systems as it can alert the homeowners before the fire damages the whole property. So...what are your views on it? |

Posted - 11/13/2019 : 10:44:05 PM Yes, it is necessary to have fire sprinklers. Because fire or smoke alarm just can detect the danger, make a alert, and send the message to you and the authority. It can not help you put out a fire. But with fire sprinklers, it will spray water to put out fire in time. So to protect your security, the wise choice is to install fire sprinklers and smoke/ fire detect together. |

Posted - 10/23/2018 : 10:57:23 PM You are right, more than 200K houses are burnt every year in the United States. If you are a responsible person then you know that there is nothing more valuable than your safety. Fire alarms are the only way to keep yourself safe from fire in this modern world. |

Posted - 10/18/2018 : 08:23:27 AM Everybody should have a fire, or, rather, at least one smoke detector in their home. Carbon monoxide, however, is the result of burning in an atmosphere starved of oxygen. Whether one actually needs a CO sensor depends on what type of appliances are in the home, if they are actually capable of generating carbon monoxide. |

Posted - 10/18/2018 : 04:03:50 AM Nothing is more important than your faimly Safety & Security,we should have the alarm system in our houses if we can afford it and only fire alarm is not enough co sensor are also important because more deaths are caused by co and it is odor less and we cannot detect it. |

Posted - 05/03/2018 : 10:36:03 AM For me, safety comes first so I will say that Fire Alarms is must as it alerts the owners before damaging your house. There are are some good smart smoke detectors available too in the market which can detect slow burning and fast burning areas. |

Posted - 02/01/2018 : 08:28:33 AM This idea is nothing new. It was debated in the early 1970s when smoke detectors, ionization and photoelectric, began to be installed in homes and eventually became mandatory. There are several drawbacks to sprinkler systems, keeping them away from the mainstream fire protection of homes. First, most home fires' related casualties have been the result of asphyxiation. Fires may be smoldering for a long time, killing people, before erupting into open flames. Sprinklers won't detect smoldering fires. They are triggered by their internal temperature sensors, generally set to 135*F (57*C), which may already be too late, especially in our North American wooden structures. Adding sprinklers to a home may enhance fire security, but strategically placed smoke detectors should alert the inhabitants in time to deal with a fire at its initial stage. Retrofitting sprinklers in a home may be quite costly. Because of the cost, builders are not likely to install sprinkler systems in new homes unless required by the customer or legislated. Smoke detectors provide early warning, so sprinklers effectiveness in homes in terms of saving lives may be questionable, not counting the considerable water damage they can cause. |
