Replacing an older Insteon t-stat with recently purchased 2441TH.
But I seem to have wires with no where to go.
What I get is (as labeled on old t-stat):
C (Blue)
W1 (White)
W2 (Black)
Y1 (Yellow)
G (Green)

But what do I do with the R (red) wire? Does it tie to the 24RH or Y2? (The old t-stat does not have a Y2 on it's screw terminals but it has a R)

Colors vary but here is a "general" run down of the wires:

Red - 24V power connect this to the 24RH on the 2441TH
C - Common - usually dark blue or black - not needed for battery operated thermostats, will be needed on smart thermostats.
W1 - Heat stage 1 - Usually White
W2 - Heat stage 2 - usually black.. Orange or brown might indicate heat pump.
Y1 - Cooling stage 1 - Usually yellow
Y2 - Cooling stage 2 - Usually light blue
G - Fan - Usually green

You will need to hook up the red and Blue (C) to power up the 2441TH. After that just connect your heat and cool to the appropriate terminals and test control.

Anybody? My suspicion is the red wire would connect to the 24RH terminal on the new t-stat. The blue and red wires connect to adjacent terminals on the old unit. The C and 24RH terminals are also next to each other.
