Indoor IR sensors only, are designed for controlled environment, in which you may close a window or shade to reduce light changes, or eliminate the airflow within a room, that may move a curtain a trigger the sensor, etc.IR sensors are sensitive to heat changes within the chip. You can check to get some reliable wave motion sensors. That includes body temperature, but also a passing cloud within your property, etc. Using dual tech sensors means it will only trigger when both IR plus microwaves are detected, reducing false alarms. Other technologies include ultrasonic, etc.
Informative. Thanks for sharing. I will check. By the way, wanted to ask if these sensors are not LED? |

Posted - 11/25/2019 : 01:24:38 AM There are many differences between indoor motion sensors and outdoor motion sensors. If you install an indoor motion sensor outside, it can not protect your house security effectively!!! Because I have imeshbean indoor motion sensors, and I had installed it outside for a test. Its detection range is limited to an indoor sensor outside. So If you need pir motion sensors to protect the outside of your house, it's better to install an OUTSIDE motion sensor. |
