Field fencing is the best way to get rid of all attacking animals.

My mother used to keep them out by chopping up old pairs of panty hose. They can smell the skin on the panty hose. Other than that, a 30-30 usually works for me!

If you find this forum helpful, buying from the company that makes it possible makes more sense: http://www.smarthome.com/6120/Contech-Electronics-CRO-101-Scarecrow-Water-Spraying-Animal-Repeller/p.aspx

You can try the following options:
chicken mesh wiring around the garden
deer repellents such as deerout and liquid fence
or this thing (my personal favorite): http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/scarecrow-sprinkler-motion-activated-animal-deterrent-p-3327.html

We use field fencing for our veggie garden and that works. Otherwise, you just need to share the space and look for plants they don't like .. lavender, oleander, rosemary, zinnia ..

A 10' wall. Unless they are particularly delectable flowers.

Good Luck and watch out for ticks.
