I find the ring video doorbell by an interesting idea. I read a review about it in the Wall Street Journal.

Nowhere in the site video or YouTube demonstrations do they say if it will work with a chime or ringer inside the house as well as on your smart phone.

Sometime the phone is on the charger or not with me or my wife is at home and doesn't have a smart phone.

The doorbell is not an Insteon device.

I'm surprised that there is not a lively discussion of the RING Video Doorbell somewhere on this web site? I haven't found it?

Smarthome sells the devices but no where does it say
they connect/interact with Insteon?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Best Wishes

According to the on-line User's Manual you can connect the device to your existing doorbell.
