Hello,

I'm setting up an Insteon HD Camera 2864-222. The camera is connected to the router and I am using the web user interface to set it up.

I can log in and do everything through the web ui, however, when I try to set up the wireless settings, I scan and find my WiFI SSID, I enter the appropriate username and password and I receive the following error "Password format error".

I am using a 24 character password with characters, numbers, and symbols.

Are there characters/symbols that aren't allowed or something? Is there something specific that this means? I am extremely hesitant to experiment with different passwords because then the wife will complain that I have to re-set all other devices with the new password.

Thanks!

As a troubleshooting technique temporarily change the password to a simple one and add complexity as you go along. What's the result?
