moved into a house with an brinks 3000c key pad 3101 is printed on the inside of the key panel when opened up. It is getting power but the screen Is blank. When the buttons are pushed they beep, but nothing apears on the screen. It also has a 8 zone panel with 6 hook up zones. Cant tell what board is but the numbers ffff 000b b581. I m sure the back up battery is dead. What am trying to accomplish is get they system to work but not be monitored. I would like to hook up either Ethernet or wifi to get txts/emails when triggerd. A smart home set up would be great if I can use all my existing sensors on the doors, windows, motion and siren. Also I would like to add an outside siren and cameras that are wired or wifi in the future.

Can you guid me on the equipment that I need please .

Thank you in advance

Elk is one of the few available that works well in automation, no contracts required and can be DIY. Search for "Elk M1 Gold" Amazon and Ebay. You will need the replace the control, keypad, battery and probably transformer.
