Cyber attacks on companies are becoming more and more common every day. Unfortunately, our company was a victim of this. We lost a lot of our valuable hours, valuable data due to this. After the attack, we hired a ( )cybersecurity consulting firm and did an audit. It actually turned out to be pretty good.
Now we have a new doubt. We are planning to buy some IOT powered speakers, but there are more reports of vulnerable IOT devices. So what can do to make sure that they are safe? Any advice on this will be appreciated.

Hire a truly knowledgeable, experienced security firm. Make sure the IT people know their jobs. Keep in mind, though, that up until recently most IoT manufactures built no security features into their devices. That would have cost development time, resources, experienced designers, all in all more investment and a higher price. And the market didn't push for it.
