I have 5 rooms with insteon dimmer switches. When I turn the lights on or off in one room the lights blink in the other rooms.
3 rooms are 3 way,
1 room is 4 way and
1 room has only a single dimmer switch.
2477d dimmer switches all.

do you have a hub or other controller? Do you have any scenes created?

It seems some experience some flickering with insteon communication, but nothing that I would call "blinking".

What kind of bulbs, incandescent, LED, CFL, other? Are the lights that blink on when this occurs? Is the blink once or twice or something else?

Never mind, the problem resolved itself somehow. Thanks!

Well the problem wasn't ever really resolved apparently. All the rooms have LED lights.

I will sometimes notice a high-frequency flicker with my lights. LEDs seem to respond to power fluctuations much more so that incandescent, so I have accepted the problem when it occurs (which is not often). Besides, it does not bother us too much. If it did, it might be worth the time to create the conditions under which the flicker occurs and try to mitigate those conditions if possible. But, we really don't have a constant stream of insteon messages so I don't see the problem very often.

When you say "impossible to diagnose and resolve", it seems that you have already determined the cause to be insteon communications, no? If so, it sounds as if you have already diagnosed it and now are simply looking for a remedy. Do you have a lot of insteon communications? Can you easily reduce them? Have you tried different bulbs and, if so, notice any difference?
