I would like be able to “tell” my heating system to “put some heat in the living room floor when the sun is shining, the outside temp is less than 60F, and it is between 10AM and 2PM.” I do not want my thermostat to learn my habits or be scheduled based on time alone.
The system is zoned hot water radiant floor with Mestek KN-2 boiler and solar hot water panels feeding the lower part of the hot water tank. There are Rehau switches on the floor manifold.
The thermostats are wired without a c wire, two wires only.
Is there such a device that can replace the living room thermostat or give some smarts to one of the Rehau switches directly?
