Just for a second, and then stops. They've all been replaced over the summer, but it keeps happening, and ALWAYS when we're asleep.

It takes me forever to fall back asleep because I can't relax. Sometimes I jerk awake in the middle of the night, imagining the alarm is about to go off.

Ideas? Does this happen to anyone else?

At this point, the experience of the event is worse than the event itself from an objective point of view, but knowing that doesn't help.

This is not unheard of and rarely happening always at night - you don't notice the ones during the day. It may be caused by dirt collected in the chamber.
