I know I can control more than 1 house/hub with the iPhone app.

I have a related question, we live in a condo, our garage is quite far from the house.

I do have my physical/WiFi network run to the garage. Insteon signals cannot make it out there via powerline or wireless. I have tried a range extended it just doesn't get there.

So I was thinking about getting another hub for the garage. My question is can scenes work across hubs, specifically can a device on hub-1 be a controller/responder to a device on hub-2?

For instance, I would like to see the status of the garage door in the house on the other hub, etc.

I already have the 'Insteon74551 Garage Door Control & Status Kit' and I will purchase a hub if this is the best way to accomplish my goal.

Any guidance or experience would be appreciated!

The current generation of Hubs do not support Hub-to-Hub control...but I think it would be a great feature.

You would want to look at the ISY-994I controller to accomplish that.
