What is the cause of the behavior of the switch on the left? This is the 5th or 6th switch I have that has done this.
Notice the switch on the right is dead too. I have had to replace 10 or more of these unreliable pieces of garbage over the last year. Insteon is total junk as far as I'm concerned...

My best guess is hardware failure. I had one device do something similar, but I think it was the result of me working with hot wires causing some arcing and spikes.

I have no idea why you are experiencing such high failure rates. Certainly this is not my experience. I cannot help but wonder if you have something going on with your power quality. I am sure you are very frustrated.

I also assume you have performed a factory reset?
