Hello and thank you for accepting me !

I am home pretty much al the time and trying to find the best security system possible. I am looking into Interlogix Ultra Sync, mainly because I have a great deal for monthly fees from my insurance company.

Unfortunately, the salesperson isn’t knowledgeable at all and can’t answer my questions, or does but when I do my research, I find out the information is inaccurate.

My goal is to feel secure in my house, especially at night. My problem is to figure out what are the best type of sensors to use, considering the following :

Point of entries to protect :
Townhouse with basement, main floor and 2nd floor. 2 small dogs (less than 10 pounds)

Main floor :
- 2 doors
- 2 windows

Basement :
2 windows

All windows and doors are directly in view of one another, front of the house and back, with opening in the center (clearview) and maybe 22-25 feet between each other.

My bedroom is upstairs but I do sometimes have to get downstairs at night (where the dogs sleep).

My question is : what is my optimal set-up for complete protection and also allow me to move freely on the main floor and upstairs at night when the system is armed ?

Thank you !

Unfortunately, I am not very good at technical information. When I chose a security system for my house, I also did not know how and where to install it correctly. But I got a good consultation from the Kangaroo company, the guy explained everything lucidly and helped in the choice of sensors.
