We were not in home for last two months. We were enjoying our vacation with my son in Australia. It was a great vacation and my family enjoyed a lot. Last day we reached back from Australia. When I switched ON my heater, some kind of smoke was coming out of it. I felt suffocated and switched it off immediately. I called my friend and asked about it. She was not knowing much about it. She asked me to call a HVAC repair team to correct it. What can be done to correct it? Is the fume coming out of the heater poisoning one? It will be great if you can help me here.

I agree with your friend.
Call a service repair company. You don't want to put yourself or home in harmful issues.
