I am considering purchasing an Insteon thermostat, but only if I can program it to control a duct booster fan (which is on an Insteon outlet). I want the fan to come on only when the heat/AC blower is turned on by the thermostat. Is this possible?

Alternatively, I would consider using an I/O Linc behind my current thermostat if it would accomplish the same thing. Again, is this possible, either directly or through my HouseLinc software?

The I/OLinc Sensor Input is for a dry contact only. It has an internal 5 volt sensing voltage.
The thermostat is probably using the standard 24VAC supply and would not be suitable for an I/OLinks Sensor Input.
