I'm a home builder installing a lighting control system for a customer that includes about 25 devices. If I setup the app on my phone initially, how do I transfer everything to the homeowner when I'm finished?
Send them a picture of the bottom of the Hub that includes the ID, list the email the Hub is currently associated with and tell them what the new email should be. It was fairly quick and painless for me.
I create an email address for each home; my system is [email protected] I put a label on the hub with my company name. I have the recovery email go to my company email address. I create a booklet for each home that contains the login and password information. They can simply pass on the booklet when they sell the home. I have in the booklet an "Introduction program to their smart home" that I sell for $100.
I have had one house that sold 4 times and I every owner became my customer. 2 of the people actually paid me to setup their new home.
