A smart camera or smart IR sensor that can tell between a raccoon a human.
1. If it's a raccoon, time delay (to prevent false triggering) to turn on a sprinkler for 30 seconds if it is between April and November and after dark.
2. If it's a human and it's not one who lives in the house, time delay (to prevent false triggering), flash outdoor lights at one second interval for 2 minutes or until human presence is no longer detected.
Is it even possible and if so what equipment do I need? I'm starting from scratch.
I have a similar problem, the house is located next to the forest and animals often pass, I just turned off the alarm for now. I'm already tired of it.
well, with such characteristics, I do not know if there are, but sensors that allow you to track people and animals exist for sprinklers. I have one of these, which turns on and off on a schedule and also turns off if there is a person nearby
