We moved to a new office recently, and the builder had already pre-wired it for security systems. Before I call for info, can someone benefit from what they have had set up and the alarm monitoring systems costs? I need a self-monitored type, where I receive alarm notifications on my phone. I would love to hear all your recommendations.

Why wouldn’t you use a professional service? It would be a small, deductible business expense, and it would also ensure an alarm would be responded to when you are in phone conversations or when the phone is silenced (i.e. at church, in a movie, spending quality time with family, etc.) or out of range.
