 Thermostat recommendations for Heat Pump system		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I purchased an Insteon 2441-TH thermostat. An HVAC technician looked at the wiring and said the 2441-TH is for a non-Heat Pump system an most likely for a gas heat system.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a thermostat I can use with a Heat Pump system that can be controlled by my Insteon hub, first choice. Or a thermostat that can be controlled by Zwave, wifi, or other systems, second choice.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or suggestions.

Try RTH6580WF Wi-Fi thermostat for example. Its manual here https://digitalassets.resideo.com/damroot/Original/10014/33-00130EF.pdf says it works both with heating and cooling systems.
