I have a two story house and in all my bedrooms, I have a ceiling fan, light combo. the way it is currently set up is with one of the remote / receiver combos.

1). The remote looks like a wall switch with light and fan controls and runs on a battery. The only wire is a ground

2). It communicates with a receiver wired in the fan housing. It takes a line, ground, and neutral wire from the ceiling and then the receiver in the housing ties in the light and fan load from the fan / light combo.

My question is do they have a "smart" version of this that works with Alexa? That way I would not need to rewire the rooms as I do not have the required load wires in the wall.

I would figure it should not be that hard to make the remote or reciever work off Alexa.
