I have an LED floor lamp that has an electronic "touch" switch that toggles between on and off.

Am I correct that there is not a way to turn this lamp into a "smart" one so it can be put on a timer or respond to Siri/Alexa/Google?

I'm guessing that since the state (of being on or off) resets to off when the power is cut (either by unplugging or using a smart plug (i.e. Wemo).

Probably no easy way.
If you remove the touch switch and wire it directly. You should be able to control it with an external device.
