New guy here and I apologize if this has been covered on other posts. I did search but did not find anything which is applicable.
I built my house in 2019 and had a full DSC system put in for doors, windows, glass breaks, motions and water levels. I also have a separate system for video (provision isr) inside and a outside of the home. The installer set me up with “his” monitoring station which is a complete joke.
I want to disconnect from the monitoring people and go it alone with an internet solution that I can use to monitor our alarms and status.
My security guy isn’t interested in helping as he is getting money from the monitoring station for having us hooked up.
Any ideas on where I should be headed? Again, I am not very knowledgeable in the systems and I really want to use all the keypads, wiring and sensors that we already have in place.
