Has anyone ever used Insteon to communicate with a touchscreen display?

Encountering any problem? All the Insteon smart devices talk to the hub over a proprietary wireless signal.

The Insteon protocol uses very tiny messages (i.e. very limited bandwidth, just a few bytes!) to communicate on/off/dim level and scene commands quickly and reliably. It isn’t a suitable medium for moving video data.

If you mean controlling your Insteon home from a touch screen, we’ve been doing that here since about 2010. Insteon apps are available for both iOS and Android touch screen devices, and Insteon gear can also be connected via your Alexa or Google Home or Siri or Home Assistant or HomeBridge software for control via a touch screen.

I don't get the right question too. But, yes, you can control your Insteon home via a touch screen.

Insteon devices communicate with each other using signals transmitted on your existing power lines or via built in 900 MHz radios, no wifi required.

You wouldn’t be able to use a touch screen without wifi, but you could use KeypadLincs or Mini Remotes to control scenes.
