Thanks, I received the info and it seems to be exactly what I need to control several shades (I am now using smarthome I/O linc but it has know limitation of controlling one group only).

i am using ISY994. Can you please confirm that I can use ISY scenes with your bridge, so, e.g., I can make ISY scene with keypad button being a controller and one channel of the bridge being a responder so it would control specific group of shades).

Thanks.

I'd love any info on the Insteon-Somfy bridge.

To anyone who posted concerning Sunsetter awnings. I just installed the Sunsetter awning with Somfy motor/remote control. Did you get it working with INSTEON? What did you do, what functionality? I have the Sunsetter wind sensor installed but would also liek rain sensor activation, to either open or close.

Thanks!

The Insteon to Somfy bridge will give you all the features that your Telis remote has.

The wind and rain sensors link to the Somfy motor independent of the bridge.

I purchased and received the controller. However, reading through the manual has confused me. I am planning to use the device (and Somfy 16 channels Universal RTS interface) to control 2 shades independently. I would assume that I will need to set 2 separate channels of the RTS interface to control 2x shades and then link each of these channels to ISY. However, the manual was saying, "...each controller can only be linked to one channel". Does it mean that I can only control 2 shades together and cannot do it separately?

No. It means that if you set, for example, shade one to channel 1 and shade two to channel 2 that you cannot control both channels with one button or paddle.

But, you can add both shades to channel 3 and use one button or paddle to control both shades concurrently.

Thanks! Just set it all up. Works perfectly to control 2 shades independently.

If I had to guess I'd bet that smarthome has forum rules regarding products like this and not being able to do what more or less equates to advertising in the forums. Thus you need to send paceyben and email directly from his profile.

Me too, please! I was just about to outfit my new house with Somfy and Zwave. But if there's an Insteon option, I'd much rather have that.

I think everyone who has email enabled in their profile has received a response. If you have not then please just email me through my profile. Only a few of these are available before they are gone forever. Thanks

Hello, I am new member to the forum... We obviously all have a common problem, paceyben do you still have any devices left?

I have tried contacting you but since I am a new member I could not send an email.

Hi Paceyben, I am in the middle of finishing my first (of a few more to come) RTS installation with the bulky Somfy Dry Contact and the I/O link .... as you know w 1 I/O link only Up and Down no halfway Stop.
Is that addressed with your Bridge?
Would I still be able to control via Inteon Dimmer or Switchlinc and the mobilinc app on Android?
Thanks
